It’s been madness here at the Valonz HQ over the last two weeks, I am frantically doing trails for fashion week and whilst shooting campaigns for leading brands at the same time! Argh!!! I did manage to seek solace with my dear friend and designer Kirrily Johnston. We played around and I took a sneak peak into her bag. I’m beyond excited to work alongside her once again on Monday as she reveals her beautiful designs for Fashion Week. Stay tuned!

I loved! working on this shoot in the latest Russh magazine – Every wondered what happens behind the scenes? It takes a village.. Here are some candid shots I took on the day. The amazing manicure by Eva at Miss Frou Frou using Red Hot and injecting some nail piercing finished the look. Make up artist Victoria Baron made the cool rock a billy look come alive tatt’s and all. Photographer Bec Parsons worked her magic and Billie Ivison Russh’s Fashion Editor pulled it all together!

Get Loose & get sexy
Start with dry hair. Take medium sections of hair and wrap around the Cloud Nine Wand, starting at the top and winding downwards, take section of hair and brush it through with a Mason Pearson brush. Continue tonging the back and sides with the same downwards motion.
At the crown section, wrap hair horizontally around the wand. Continue the same process to the front. Squeeze a 20 cent size amount of Wella SP Ends Express and work throughout hair. Remember, less is more when it comes to product – you don’t want to weigh the hair down.
Gather all the hair to the back, pick up hair and twist in clockwise motion. Grab crown section and pinch and lift hair so it loosens.
Work your fingers into hair from the back and shake at the roots to loosen and give volume. This will give you a loose, sexy, effortless curl using the Cloud Nine Wand.
